CMM Recovery and Utilization Initiative Guizhou Province,China
Welcome!
The Guizhou Coal Mine Methane Initiative promotes Coal Mine Methane (CMM) recovery and utilization among gassy coal mines in Guizhou Province, China. The project began when the Guizhou International Cooperation Center for Environmental Protection (GZICCEP) received a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in support of its Methane to Markets Program.
Our mission is to transform coal mine methane from a wasted, dangerous greenhouse gas into a clean energy asset by bridging the information gap between coal mines, investors, technologies and methane users in Guizhou province, China.
Ultimately, we hope that this project can demonstrate that Environmental Protection and Economic Prosperity can work together simultaneously to bring sustainable benefits to China and the global community.
